Andy Warhol, won't you please come home...
Ok, so I wasted today redoing my blog instead of working on my Director project. Oh well. It wasn't going to take that long, but I apparently am an HTML dummy today. Ah, well, it's okay now. Now Mental Static is very....happy O_o
I really, really hate people. We got TWO phone calls at around 4 am today. The first time, my roomie tried to answer it, but our cordless phone refused to work, so the answering machine picked up, and the person hung up, leaving the ANNOYING hangup tones (louder than an alarm clock) blaring across the room. So I was definitely awake...and five minutes later the phone rang AGAIN. This time my roomie picked up the regular phone, and after yelling "HELLO??" several times, some chick said "Who is this?"...to which my roomie replied "Who is THIS??"...the person hung up. It's really interesting hearing my normally quiet roommate yelling obscenities, like she did at the phone. I think we should unplug all our phones at night from now on.
I think I need to get my eyes checked again. I am having trouble reading the hurigana in my Japanese textbook (and the kanji, for that matter!) and also with focusing on stuff that's a lil farther away, like what's on my monitor from six feet away :P I prolly need a stronger perscription in my glasses. Yay. Hopefully my eye doctor will be open at some point over Thanksgiving break!
MITSUWA! MITSUWA!Hopefully I can be there at 2ish on Saturday. Does that sound good to everyone? I am dragging Laurachan with. Kya-chan, it's kinda funny...the first place I ever met online friends was at Mitsuwa ^^; I met Janelle and Tim there. It was good times. ^_^ The #fushigiyuugi and #yaoshi gatherings are always tons of fun, too. I like meeting online people, even if the prospect gives my mom a heart attack. Actually, it's weird how a lot of my 'real life' friends were online friends first; RJ and Matt, who happen to go to this school, and Puuchan and Kchan, who are semi-close to me, are a few examples. I guess it's my antisocial tendencies showing through, or something.
I really hope I get paid before Thanksgiving...otherwise it's just browsing for me at Mitsuwa. ;_; I have a real need to try Silent Hill SSR on the DDR machine. That should be fun ^_^ *tries to remember if Silent Hill is on USA mix* Anyhoo, Puuchan, you'd better be there next Saturday...or...or...something bad, or something ^_-
On the CD player: Simon and Garfunkel, thus the quote at the top.

I'm a slave of karma, baby, spin the wheel and I'm a king reborn..
K-chan, it'll be okay ^_^ *hugs* tonight we will get together, and you can take your frustration out on either my DDR pad, or if you so choose, we can go over to my brother's room and take it out on him >D
The HHP (Happy Head People, aka Student Counseling Services)called my yesterday. Unfortunately, I was on my way out to work. I told them that I was doing better, and I didn't think I'd need to go back. We'll see. If I feel overwhelmed again, then possibly I will return. For now, though, I'm okay ^_^
I'm bored. I have many things to do, and I don't really feel like doing any of them. Maybe I will just watch some Sailormoon. Woo.
On the CD player: Titan AE soundtrack. Next up: Initial D music (damn you, Krisit! Now I fear the black cow! ^_-)

Just one look and I can hear a bell ring
One more look and I forget everything...
Yes, I am still listening to the A*Teens. Now I am annoying my coworkers by listening to it at work. Ho ho ho! >D
Janaki-san, I am going to Mitsuwa the Saturday after Thanksgiving, not tomorrow, so it's ok ^_^
I am having creative block here. I was asked to do a redesign of an online portfolio template so a different department can use it...by Monday -_-;; Well, I was asked to make it 'artsy' and to do several other things with it, and I can't for the life of me incorporate the changes they want and keep it looking somewhat decent. Bah. I am sure I can come up with something, though. One thing is for sure... I won't have it done as completely as they want it to be. I'm not psychic; I can't figure out exactly what it is that they want, and the guy in charge left for a conference. Bah!
In other news, my roomie-chan has a stalker, I think O_o; Or at least, she thinks she does. This weird guy called us last week at 1 a.m. and asked for Donna. Since she was actually still awake, I gave her the phone....it was some random guy talking to her like he knew her, and asking if he could come over. We had no clue who he as, so of course she said no. We figured it was a random drunk. Well, the phone rang at 2 a.m. last night, while we were both asleep. I managed to gather up enough concious thought to answer it, and it was some guy asking for my roomie. Since the phone woke her up, too, I put her on. Turns out it was the same guy, asking how Donna was, what she did last night, all sorts of things. It was kinda scary. He said his name, but neither of us know anyone by that name. I feel bad that I even gave her the phone; had I been more coherent, I would have told him she was asleep and to go away. Now she is really freaked out o_o Poor girl; she had a really bad day yesterday, too, so that didn't help much :(
Kchan, Puu: I will be home after 2pm today. You are welcome any time after that. Plans made! ^_-
Now on the CD player: The A*Teens CD ended, so I put in Faye Wong. Whee :)

I wanna publish 'zines, and rage against machines, I wanna pierce my tounge, it doesn't hurt, it feels fine...
I love that song. It's genki-psycho, just like me XD Anyhoo, I am happy. Although I was really sad that everyone went out without inviting me, I started a new blog layout and took a nap. Then RJ and Matt came over for a bit, which also cheered me up greatly. Plus, Matt finally gave me my A*Teens CD back! Yay! (Yes, I am pathetic and I like the A*Teens. I love Abba, too, of course!) Hopefully Puuchan and Krisit can come to ISU and visit with me tomorrow. That would be hella fun =D
Anyhoo, as you can prolly tell, I am doing much better than I have been. I am not feeling nearly so stressed out. Oh, I'll be plenty stressed when I realize how little time I have to do so much stuff, but at least that's a different sort of stress. I (hopefully) worked things out with that friend I was blabbing about earlier, and that made things a lot better. At the very least, I think most all miscommunications were cleared up ^^;
Laurachan, gambatte ne~ (good luck!) Get a green one ^_^
By the way, blogging tomodachi, I will try to get myself to Mitsuwa next Saturday (the Saturday after Thanksgiving) if anyone wants to meet up there. Just drop me a line at oruhachan@yahoo.com ^_^
I'll write more tomorrow. I'm tired. At least it's a good kind of tired; I'm full (cereal, yum ^_^_v) and I've put in a full day. Whee! Ok, love you all, buh bye.
On the CD: A*Teens, of course! I missed this CD!
